  • We welcome children who are age 3 or 4 by September 1 of the school year. Our 3-year-old program runs on Thursdays and Fridays; our 4-year-old program meets Monday through Wednesday.

  • Each class is 2.5 hours long, and families can choose from three session times:

    Morning: 9:00–11:30 AM
    Midday: 11:00 AM–1:30 PM
    Afternoon: 1:00–3:30 PM

  • Buttons & Bows is a part-time, education-focused preschool—not a daycare. Our structured half-day model is ideal for families who want meaningful learning without long hours.

  • We blend the HighScope Curriculum with Montessori-inspired learning and a play-based approach. This combination fosters independence, confidence, and joyful learning.

  • We operate on a 10-month school year (September–June) and take summers off, just like the Puyallup School District. Summer is a time for families to relax, recharge, and explore.

  • Yes. While we’re not affiliated with a specific church, Buttons & Bows is rooted in Christian values like kindness, gratitude, and respect. Faith-based songs and traditions are part of the preschool experience.

  • Brightwheel is our parent communication app. It allows families to receive daily updates, messages, photos, and reminders straight to their phones.

  • No. Buttons & Bows is a private preschool and does not accept DSHS or government subsidies. However, we’re happy to discuss our tuition structure and any available discounts.
